When I started my private practice in 2017, I had a clear vision—but not all the answers. I wasn’t trying to be an expert in every aspect of running a business. I was looking for guidance, and VSP delivered.
From practice management and marketing to educational tools and hiring support, VSP helped build the framework that allowed my team to care for patients the way I envisioned. Today, that support has helped us grow to 21 locations across the Chicagoland area. The partnership has brought increased exposure, steady patient flow, and access to high-quality products our patients love. And through programs like VSP Premier Edge and VSP’s partnership with PECAA, VSP Vision continues to deliver meaningful value to our business and the profession as a whole.
As my practice grew, so did my desire to give back. Becoming a VSP Ambassador gave me the opportunity to support my peers the way I had been supported. It’s a role that allows me to listen to the challenges doctors face, share those insights with VSP, and communicate back to my peers the resources and solutions available to them. Whether it’s answering questions, clarifying policies, or helping colleagues maximize the value of their VSP partnership, I’m proud to be a connector.
The Ambassador program also keeps me informed about what’s happening in the industry and across the country—from emerging technologies and national eye care trends to updates from the American Optometric Association and how different states approach standards of care. That knowledge helps me bring valuable insights back to my community.
As both an OD and a business owner, I understand the realities of private practice. I love connecting with my peers, sharing what I’ve learned, and helping them thrive. And as a self-proclaimed social butterfly, I genuinely enjoy getting to know the doctors practicing in our area and building relationships that strengthen our profession.
